AMMI Canada Education Grants
(For Associate Members only)
- $250.00 CAD from Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, USA (Michigan, Ohio, New York States and Pennsylvania)
- $500.00 CAD from PEI, Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Nunavut
- $750.00 CAD from British Columbia, NWT, Yukon, USA (all other States)
Associates attending from the city of Toronto are ineligible for grants. In order to apply for a grant, you must be an AMMI Canada Associate Member in good standing. You must register for the full conference, pay the registration fee, sign-in on site and submit a grant application form (grant application forms will be available on-site only) after the conference to the AMMI Canada Secretariat.
CACMID Education Grants for Technical Staff
Eligibility
Applicants must be microbiology laboratory technologists or technicians and Active Members of CACMID. Each applicant is eligible for only one grant. To be eligible, the applicant must be the first author of the abstract and must be its presenter in an oral or poster session at the 26th ICC (AMMI Canada – CACMID Annual Conference 2009).

- $750.00 CAD Alberta, Saskatchewan, Newfoundland, British Columbia
- $1000.00 CAD NWT, Yukon
An education grant application form will be available to those eligible at the registration desk during the conference or it can be downloaded from the CACMID website (www.cacmid.ca). This form is to be completed after the conference and either deposited at the registration desk or mailed to the CACMID Secretary Treasurer.
NB: Technical staff attending from the city of Toronto are ineligible for grants.
